Kaivac Hires New Sales Specialist, Manufacturers’ Rep

HAMILTON, OH, Oct. 7, 2004 – Cleaning equipment manufacturer Kaivac, Inc., has just hired Mike Perazzo to be its corporate account executive to handle national accounts as well as corporate and end-user training.

He will also be responsible for local sales in and around Kaivac’s Hamilton, OH, headquarters; facilitate at Kaivac’s well-respected Boot Camp training program; and assist at national tradeshows.

“I’ve already been working with universities and schools using the Kaivac No-Touch Cleaning system, and the feedback I have gotten about Kaivac’s products has been very positive,” says Perazzo. “It’s great to know that the company you work for provides such great value to its customers." 

Perazzo is not from the cleaning industry. He is a former tennis pro who has taught tennis and managed tournaments for the past 10 years. When he was considering a career change, his father, a Chief Financial Officer, referred him to Kaivac. “I see this [working at Kaivac] as a major step forward for me. We just had a new baby boy, and it was time to start a career with a growing company that has a strong foundation and a bright future,” he says.

Former Rep Rejoins Kaivac Team

Vince Marchetti, with Cherokee Equipment, Inc., West New York, NJ, has just been re-hired as a manufacturer’s rep for Kaivac, Inc. Marchetti has twenty years experience in the jan-san industry and has been with Cherokee for nine years.

“It’s a fantastic machine,” says Marchetti, referring to the KaiVac No-Touch Cleaning system, “and Bob Robinson Sr [President of Kaivac] is truly a leader in the industry. I’m proud to say they asked me to come back because I have always loved the product line.”

Marchetti was one of Kaivac’s top reps when he was with the company several years ago, thanks to the great emphasis both he and Kaivac place on training. “Sometimes it means meeting the custodians at 6:00 in the morning or 10:00 at night, but I’ve always felt training spells success in this jansan industry,” says Marchetti.
